In no particular order…

My Top Reads of 2023!

1. None of This is True by Lisa Jewell

Thriller/Suspense – Here’s my review!

2. Finding Me by Viola Davis

Biography/ Memoir – Here’s my review!

Incredibly moving! Listen to her audio narration if you can!

3. The Twyford Code

Mystery/ Riddle – Here’s my review!

This is probably my most controversial five-star read! This is one where you will either love it or hate it. It’s also one that’s best read physically rather than listened to on audio. The actual type and print itself is part of the story. There are lots of transcripts and miswritten words – on purpose. Some found it incredibly annoying, I thought it was absolutely brilliant.

4. The Five-Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand

Contemporary Fiction/ Summer – Here’s my review!

5. Happy Place by Emily Henry

Contemporary Fiction/ Romance – Here’s my review!

6. The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese

Historical Fiction/ Generational Stories – Here’s my review!

This is my second most controversial five-star recommendation. You’re either going to love it or hate it. It’s near 800 pages and is a long, winding story that you’ll either find entrancingly beautiful or incredibly boring. My best tip for this one is to pair both the physical book and audio to immerse yourself in the story and take breaks with other books in between parts.

7. The Housemaid by Freida McFadden

Psychological Thriller – Here’s my review!

Twisty and a great audio narration! The sequel is just as fun!

8. Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano

Literary Fiction/ Retelling of Little Women – Here’s my review!

This was my FAVORITE BOOK OF 2023!!! The tears! The beauty!!

9. Maame by Jessica George

Contemporary Fiction/ Family – Here’s my review!
